What’s the difference between the preliminary and final report?
The preliminary report covers taxes, liens, city fees, and permits, and is ready in your dashboard within 1 business day. The final report folds in the city’s responses to our public-records requests, whatever the jurisdiction handles by request, and typically follows in 6-12 days (est.).

Is this a title search?
No. A municipal lien search covers what the city and county know about a property (taxes, liens, fees, permits, code enforcement). It complements the title search your closing already includes.
